Get Ready for A Soapbox:
One thing that has been on my mind lately is the treatment of bully breeds in shelters. Thank goodness for rescues catering to these breeds or there is no telling where they would be today. My friends have two of the most loving and caring dogs, that just so happen to be pits. They changed my whole view on pits and I am so glad that I got to meet these sweet fur babies. Meet Rachet (1st picture) and Corsa (2nd picture) two of the sweetest dogs I know.
Along with many others, I can't imagine how someone could harm these sweet animals. Pit bulls are beautiful animals and deserve the treatment that any other dog would get because that's just it; THEY'RE DOGS! Not beasts, or criminals, or monsters. The people that caused them to have this reputation are the monsters. I despise dog fighting more than anything on the planet and hope that during my lifetime I can see a dramatic decrease and hopefully even a stop to the disgusting and outrageous "sport."
